Lower Back Pain

Lower back pain can have many causes but whatever the cause, the body almost always tries to protect itself by tightening up or "guarding" the injured area.  Much of the time this guarding will prolong the pain longer than is necessary and even inhibit healing.  That is why muscle relaxants will often be prescribed to chemically cause a relaxation of the muscle.  Many times I can accomplish the same results without drugs using specialized massage techniques.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
